We needed between three and four teachers for our school, with Samba taking on the role of Head Master due to his years of experience leading a school in Sanchaba. He is now assembling a team for our new school, and two teachers have already agreed to join the staff.
Among all the challenges we faced, finding a solution to fund teacher employment for the school was by far the most unusual. Initially, I thought we would need sponsors for each of the over 120 children enrolled, which seemed like an overwhelming task—both in terms of securing enough sponsors and managing the finances and administration. So, I asked Samba if he had any ideas to help raise the necessary funds. His response was unexpected.
